The Original Rolling Thunder Series debuted in the 1999 with limited production of 650 units per car design.
Some Rolling Thunder original series diecast and haven’t reached the 650 car production limit and are still available to purchase. We kept up with production limits, by printing 650 decal sets per car. When the decals ran out, that was the end of the run. When the diecast production abruptly ended over a decade ago, we obviously still had decals left over for cars that had not reached the 650 unit threshold.Â
Diecast Inventory Status Definitions
We physically have this car in our inventory ready to ship.
We physically have the blank diecast and we physically have the decals sets. We are waiting on the cars to be painted, decaled, packaged and placed into out inventory. Any orders placed for a car on backorder will be shipped first as the cars are entered into inventory.Â
We do not have this car in stock and the 650 production limit has been reached. Occasionally we purchase diecast collections that may have a car that we do not have in stock, if so, we will add it to the inventory and make it available.Â
